While separating out the stuff from some boxes, I found this mini shirt of a design community. Don’t know how old this is, but I think I got it about three or four years in Düsseldorf. Someone from Visuelle Poeten remember the time? :)
I really like the splash screen of Ravi Vasavan’s website dirtylipbalm.com. And also the works. Have a look! (via yaymonday)

“Well, it’s official, any bird brain can become a knight. Nils Olav, a king penguin at the Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland, was honored by decree of King Harald V of Norway as knight. King Harald V noted that Nils “in every way qualified to receive the honour and dignity of knighthood”.” (via digg)
A Modern Promise
Immediately recognizable, and very well executed in every technical way. Love how it is one take. On 35mm.
Mareen showed the video to me today, didn’t noticed it when she made this posting on her tumblr. So if you also didn’t watch it so far, do it now! Visit the website and download the HD_1080p-Quality (1,6 GB). Awesome.

Unfortunately my pro-account expired some weeks ago, so I uploaded the original size extern on my server.

Is there any place on the interwebs where I can see the Beijing opening ceremony in good quality?
